Our team of filmmakers, led by Douglas Winningham, has 10 years of experience filming weddings from many traditions as well as being fluent with the lighting, sound and filmmaking tools that make our films professional productions.
We're always on the lookout for the intimate, spontaneous moments between you and your partner. Our team has not only the experience but also the mindfulness to be in the right place at the right time and the boldness to capture images with a unique perspective. We do not simply document your day!
When you book with Black Tie White Dress Productions, the work won't be outsourced to a freelancer. Douglas will be there to film. Every single job will have that personal touch!
We are fascinated with all cultures. With years filming Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist and many other religious ceremonies. We will respect your traditions and understand them enough to capture the important moments in a creative way.
During your first consultation, any cultural highlights can be noted so that no detail goes undocumented. We also want to be respectful of traditions. Please share any traditional greetings or norms that we should be aware of to help us blend seamlessly into your event.
Pre-production is one of the most important parts of the process that other teams often overlook. Douglas will touch base before the event to cover all the scheduling and special moments you have planned. We scout locations and make time to collaborate with every couple to make sure your wedding experience is incredible!
Every one of our films, like its couples, has its own unique personality while still being classic. There are many event cinematography services that can capture a pretty version of the day but we have "the other thing", the attention to detail and a light touch that makes the whole experience fun. We've sown buttons back on jackets, "dressed" hotel rooms like film sets and helped a frazzled father of the bride tie his bow tie.
We do much more than simply document the day! If you want the look, sound and feel of a film without drawing focus away from the real stars of the day, look no further!
